A discussion over the volume of music ends with stabbings on a bus in Palma
The National Police has arrested the alleged aggressor, who fled after the events and was located with bloody clothes and two box cutters
PalmaThe National Police have arrested a man for allegedly stabbing another with a knife on a bus in Palma, following an argument because one was playing music at a high volume. The events took place this morning, when 091 was alerted because a man had stabbed another. As reported by the Superior Headquarters of the Balearic Islands, a witness explained that he saw the fight, after which the aggressor fled and threw the knife under a car.
The agents found the bladed weapon under the vehicle and, after conducting several searches, located the alleged perpetrator. He was wearing bloodstained clothes and explained that he had argued with another man on the bus because he was playing music at a high volume.
The aggressor said he had to grab a stick that was on the bus to defend himself until he could escape. Upon searching him, the police saw that he was carrying two box cutters.
The victim was taken to a medical center and told the agents that he had argued and that they had stabbed him twice in the arm. When the bus stopped, the victim got off the bus and was able to flee.
In view of this, the man, of Colombian origin, who was being held by the police, has been arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of injury.
