Diverted to Ibiza and Menorca six flights due to wind at Palma airport

PalmaAbrupt changes in wind direction and intensity have caused six diversions at Palma airport and delays this Monday.

According to Aena, between 3:20 PM and 3:40 PM, wind shear forced the diversion of five flights to Ibiza and one to Menorca. The situation later normalized.

Similarly, delays persisted this afternoon for several flights at Son Sant Joan airport, both departures and arrivals.
