Four decomposing corpses rescued in Portocolom waters

PalmaThe Civil Guard has recovered four bodies that appeared this Tuesday in the waters of Portocolom in an advanced state of decomposition. As reported by the Armed Institute, the discovery occurred after Maritime Rescue alerted about the sighting of several bodies, while it was heading to assist a raft.

Personnel from the Special Group of Underwater Activities (GEAS) were dispatched to the scene, who recovered the bodies from the water, while Maritime Rescue later transferred them to port. The same sources could not specify if the bodies were wearing life jackets, although they insisted that they were in an advanced state of decomposition. It should be recalled that the migrants rescued from a raft last Thursday reported that three people had died during the crossing to Mallorca and that, as they died, they were thrown into the sea.
