Gold bars and 12 luxury watches in the Mallorca home of the Dutchman investigated in Plus Ultra

PalmaThe Dutchman Simón Leendert Verhoeven, investigated in the Plus Ultra case for his loans to the airline through his gold and raw materials sales businesses, kept two gold bars, twelve luxury watches, and numerous jewels at his home in Mallorca, which was searched in October 2024. As stated in the summary of this case, Verhoeven, for whom there is currently an international arrest warrant for extradition purposes, acknowledged before the Geneva Prosecutor the ownership of three companies (Allpa Wira Trading UK, Wailea Investment LTD, and Valerian Corporation) and that through them he had made loan agreements in favor.

Specifically, there is an invoice issued by Allpa Wira Trading for a sale of gold to the Dubai company Al Joud Precious Metal and Stones Trading for an amount of 122,417,000 million dirhams, equivalent to approximately 30 million euros.

According to the information provided by the Swiss authorities, the activity of the Allpa Wira Trading AG account is characterized by financial activities related to the trade of raw materials.

In accordance with the results of the investigations carried out, the Swiss company Allpa Wira Trading AG is the parent company of the British Allpa Wira Trading Uk LTD, which appears as the service provider for Plus Ultra Línies Aèries.

In the inventory of their domicile, on a property in Santa Maria de Camí, the agents found the two gold bars, one of 100 grams and another of 50, as well as twelve watches from the brands Patek Philippe, Baume Mercier, Longines, Montblanc, Omega (Speedmaster models).

Jewelry in the shape of a feline

Among the found jewels are a pink necklace, a ring and a pair of earrings, all of them feline-shaped, as well as a gold-colored pendant from which also hangs a feline-shaped object.

Additionally, a gold bracelet with green stones, a set of nine rings, six pairs of earrings of various colors, and a pendant with a purple stone were found, as well as a necklace with pearl-colored spherical shapes, a bracelet with inlaid gold and silver stones, a silver pendant with a navy blue stone, and a fine gold-colored chain, as reflected in the minutes.

On the other hand, the agents also confiscated three computers, four hard drives, and three USB drives, as well as a document from Kaimana Capital dated July 21, 2024, for 43,560 euros in fees.
