Snow returns to Puig Major and covers the roof of Mallorca in white

As the morning progressed, the snowfall intensified, and the flakes became denser and purer, causing the snow to accumulate more quickly and blanket much of the summit and surrounding area of Puig Major. This increased intensity also improved the quality of the snow, which now forms a visible and continuous layer in some parts of the mountain. According to forecasts, snow is expected to continue in the higher elevations of the Serra de Tramuntana in the coming hours, and it is possible that snow could reach lower areas if temperatures and precipitation persist. Given this situation, extreme caution is advised on mountain roads and hiking trails, as the combination of snow, ice, and low temperatures can make driving and access to some areas difficult.
