Hotel evacuated in Palmanova due to fire
The fire has now been extinguished and tourists have been able to return to their rooms.
PalmA hotel in Palmanova, Calvià, was evacuated this Saturday due to a fire that broke out in the room where the hotel's manure is stored.
This was reported by sources from the Calvià City Council, according to which the fire started shortly after 5:00 p.m. in a hotel on Germans Montcada Street, in Palmanova.
Due to this incident, the Mallorca Fire Brigade from the Calvià station and a sergeant from the Mallorca Fire Brigade, in addition to a total of five Calvià Local Police units and Civil Guard officers, were mobilized to the scene.
Due to the spectacular fire, the hotel was evacuated. However, it should be noted that once the firefighters extinguished the fire, guests were able to return to their rooms.
Finally, the street immediately surrounding the hotel fence has been cordoned off, as its condition is unknown.
