In serious condition a man who has fallen from five meters in Fornalutx when he was drunk
The man, 40 years old, has been evacuated by medicalized helicopter to Son Espases
PalmaA 40-year-old man was transferred this Thursday to Son Espases hospital in serious condition after falling from a height of about five meters in Fornalutx. The accident took place around 7 a.m., when Emergency services received the notice that a person had fallen from a residence and needed an urgent assessment.
SAMU 061 personnel, the Local Police, and the Civil Guard were dispatched to the scene. The medical response included a Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance and a medical helicopter.
According to the Civil Guard, a witness located the man, of Spanish nationality, on the public road after the fall. Initial reports suggest that the man was in a state of intoxication and that, upon leaning against a wall located on the public road, he ended up falling down the slope, from an approximate height of five meters.
Health services have stabilized him.
