The Mallorca Firefighters rescue three people in different interventions for heatstroke and falls

PalmaThe Mallorca Firefighters carried out three rescue operations this Wednesday in different parts of the island to assist two hikers and a cyclist who had suffered heatstroke or falls while practicing outdoor activities.
The first intervention occurred at 12:20 p.m. in the torrent of Pareis, where a hiker suffered heatstroke. The helicopter has been dispatched to the scene Milan, who evacuated the victim to Son Espases University Hospital to receive medical assistance.
A little more than an hour later, around 1:30 PM, firefighters from the Artà fire station intervened at Punta de n'Amer after a cyclist fell while riding in the area. As a result of the accident, the man could not walk, so the firefighters carried him on a stretcher to an accessible point, where an ambulance was waiting to take him for medical attention.
The third rescue was registered around 2:00 PM in the Coll Baix area. In this case, a hiker fell and hit her head, which once again required the helicopter to be deployed.Milan. The woman has been transferred to Son Espases University Hospital for treatment.
