A man arrested for stalking a woman and masturbating in front of her in Palma.
The National Police have reported that the events date back to the morning of July 18.
PalmOfficers from the Central District Investigation Group of the National Police in Palma arrested a man last Wednesday as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of harassment, accused of masturbating in front of a woman.
In a press release, the National Police reported that the events date back to the morning of July 18, when a woman who had gone for a walk noticed a man inside a vehicle, staring at her obsessively and then masturbating. The woman left the scene frightened.
The next morning, the victim left home again and encountered the same man inside the car near her home. The attacker approached in the vehicle, parked next to her, and masturbated again while watching her. Frightened, the woman headed back home.
After the incident, the victim went to the National Police Headquarters in the Balearic Islands and filed a complaint. The alleged perpetrator's actions forced the woman to change her routine for fear of running into him again. Once officers were informed, the Central District Investigation Group began efforts to identify the man. Police finally located him on July 30 and arrested him on suspicion of stalking.
