Sources from the hotel company explained to EFE that this is an operational decision affecting, for the moment, three hotels, "based strictly on occupancy levels" with the aim of optimizing resources and prioritizing the best service and experience for guests. They also assured that they currently have supplies on site to support the continued operation of the facilities and noted that Cuban tourism authorities stated there is sufficient fuel available to guarantee the normal operation of the hotels they manage. Furthermore, they affirmed that they maintain "close communication and collaboration" with tour operators to offer, in any case, the best alternatives to customers affected by these adjustments. Similarly, the airlines Iberia and Air Europa have also announced that they will make a technical stop in the Dominican Republic for their flights between Cuba and Spain due to the supply limitations imposed by the United States.
