Motorcyclist seriously injured in accident in Palma
The motorcyclist was unable to avoid colliding with a car that was turning onto the road to Jesús, in the Son Anglada neighborhood.
PalmA motorcyclist in his fifties was seriously injured Monday afternoon in a traffic accident in the Palma neighborhood of Son Anglada. The accident occurred on Camino de Jesús when the motorcycle rear-ended a car. According to initial reports from the Palma Local Police, the motorcyclist was traveling behind a car that, at some point, turned. The man apparently did not notice the maneuver and collided with the back of the vehicle. Emergency services arrived at the scene and treated the injured man before transferring him to a hospital on the island. The driver of the car, a woman in her thirties, was also taken to a private clinic with neck pain as a result of the impact. The Palma Local Police have opened an investigation to determine the exact causes of the accident.
