Almost 5,000 people complete the Climb to Lluc on Foot of the Part Forana
It is the first edition organized by the Consell de Mallorca

PalmNearly 5,000 people from up to 45 Mallorcan municipalities participated this Sunday in the traditional Part Forana Climb to Lluc on Foot, organized for the first time by the Consell de Mallorca. The thousands of participants reached the sanctuary after a journey that passed without incident, according to the island's authority.
This 44th edition of the walk was organized for the first time by the Consell de Mallorca with the collaboration of the Association of Former Blauets de Lluc and the support of other institutions, volunteers, and emergency services. The island's authority emphasized that the public response has been very large, with nearly 5,000 people walking the path to Lluc as "an expression of faith, tradition, personal growth, or simply as a shared experience."
Upon arriving at the sanctuary, participants were greeted with hot chocolate and the traditional "measures" prepared by Mater's workshop, as a sign of welcome and recognition of their efforts.
The day continued with the institutional and religious welcoming ceremony, which included a welcome from the Antiguos Blauets de Lluc Association, an offering from the villages of palm branches and local produce, and a Mass presided over by the Bishop of Mallorca, Sebastià Taltavull, with dancing.
More than 200 personnel, including emergency services, local police, health services, Civil Protection, and volunteers, participated in the security and coordination operation.
