PalmaPalma experienced a demonstration this Sunday on the occasion of Palestinian Land Day that brought together nearly 200 people. The mobilization, called by the platform Citizens for Palestine, started from the Pere Garau neighborhood and traveled through several streets in the center with Palestinian flags and banners demanding an end to the war in Gaza.

The organizers have denounced what they consider a war escalation driven by Israel with the support of the United States and its NATO allies. Among the demands, they have called for sanctions against Israel, Spain's exit from NATO, and the closure of military bases.

During the march, Palestinian flags predominated, but symbols from Lebanon and Iran were also seen. Participants displayed banners with messages such as "Stop genocide," "Ceasefire now," or "The working class for the liberation of Palestine," while chanting slogans of support for the Palestinian people and demanding an end to the conflict in Gaza.

One of the most striking moments of the protest was the presence of a figure representing the American president Donald Trump, with critical messages towards his international policy. This action was also part of the international "No Kings" movement, which promotes protests against the American leader and his influence in global politics.

The demonstration caused some traffic disruptions as it advanced through the streets of central Palma and ended without incident.
