PalmaThe Palma Intermodal Station will be closed on Sunday, April 19th due to an accident simulation that will affect public transport services. Likewise, this closure will be used to carry out an improvement action on the bus entry and exit ramps of the station, with the aim of optimizing the safety and efficiency of the service.

The simulation, organized by Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca with the coordination of the Directorate General of Emergencies and Interior and the Consorci de Transports de Mallorca, aims to exercise the activation and deactivation procedures of the different bodies and services in the event of an accident at the Intermodal station. It also aims to train the planning and decision-making of command centers in emergency situations, such as the evacuation of a large number of people, the care of those affected, or the rescue and transfer of victims, and to assess both the response capacity and the degree of coordination between the participating organizations.

How long will the closure last?
