All proceeds will be donated to the programs and services that Rehacer has been developing since 1994, focused on the rehabilitation, psychological and social support, and community integration of people affected by acquired brain injury in the Balearic Islands.
Manifesto 2025: 30 years building dignity
Coinciding with this event, Dany Cerebral Estatal has developed the 2025 Manifesto, with the participation of people with ABI from associations across Spain, including Rehacer, to commemorate three decades of the associative movement under the slogan "30 years building dignity." The manifesto recalls that approximately half a million people with acquired brain injury live in Spain, many of them without the resources or support necessary to lead full lives and participate in society on equal terms.
The associative movement demands: "The creation of a specific diagnostic code for ABI upon hospital discharge, which guarantees continuity of care. A National Strategy or Plan for ABI Care, which comprehensively coordinates resources, services, and support. The development of a state census that reflects the real figures, reflects the real figures, is inclusive and universal, and takes into account the diversity of realities: brain injury in children, people seriously affected or with mental health problems, and those in situations of greater vulnerability." With this manifesto, the acquired brain injury movement reaffirms its commitment to the dignity, rights, and inclusion of all affected individuals and their families.
