Residents of Esporles report possible bullfighting events in an illegal bullring.
The Franz Weber Foundation denounces that the company managing the estate is the promoter of the bullfights in Inca and the September bullfight in Muro.

PalmResidents of Esporles have warned of the possible holding of bullfighting events on a property with a bullring whose construction has been halted by the Territorial Defense Agency (ADT). This was reported by the Franz Weber Foundation, according to Europa Press, which demanded an explanation from the municipal council and other institutions. In a statement, the animal rights association denounced that the company managing the property is the sole administrator of the company promoting the bullfights in Inca and the upcoming bullfight on September 14 in Muro. "The stench of mafia seems to spread throughout the Part Forana," it criticized.
It also pointed out that holding bullfights without prior notice could violate Law 9/2017 regulating bullfights and animal protection in the Balearic Islands, which requires the promoting company to submit a declaration of responsibility for the commencement and exercise of the activity to the corresponding city council.
In this case, the foundation has pointed to "reasonable doubts" about the legality of the events carried out on a property with several planning warnings. Thus, the NGO has explained that it will send informative letters to the Government, the Council of Mallorca, and the City Council, in order to clarify what has happened on the property in recent months.
It has also recalled that holding bullfighting events without authorization is considered a very serious offense, with fines of up to 100,000 euros for organizers.
