Seven events are scheduled for anchorage on posidonia in Ibiza.
The Regional Ministry reminded sailors that they can consult the official Posidonia cartography through the anchoring applications.

PalmThe Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and the Natural Environment has issued seven administrative orders for anchoring over oceanic posidonia meadows in the Bay of Talamanca, Ibiza. According to the Government, this operation is the largest carried out to date to combat illegal anchoring and inspect unauthorized nautical charter activity.
The operation was coordinated by the General Directorate of the Natural Environment and Forest Management, through the Balearic Institute of Nature (Ibanat) and the Posidonia Surveillance Service, and environmental agents participated. During the operation, seven reports were issued for anchoring over posidonia, and vessels were directly informed of the prohibition of anchoring with anchor and chain. Sailors were also reminded that they can consult the official posidonia cartography through the anchoring and Atlasposidonia.com.
The Regional Ministry of the Sea and the Water Cycle, which participated in the operation as part of its campaign to strengthen surveillance and control of nautical activity, especially to combat illegal chartering and ensure the correct management of buoy fields, provided the drone that allowed vessels to enter before starting the interventions.
