The 0-3 Network will resume mobilizations in September if the negotiation of the autonomous agreement is not opened
UGT, CCOO and STEI condition a new wave of protests on the fact that the employers' associations sit down to negotiate the collective agreement for the early childhood education centers and that the Government responds to their demands in the meeting scheduled for this July
PalmaThe 0-3 Network of the Balearic Islands and the UGT, CCOO, and STEI unions will resume mobilizations in September if the employers' associations continue to refuse to negotiate an autonomous agreement for the nursery school sector.
This was agreed upon at an assembly held this Wednesday in Inca, where the results of the meeting held with the President of the Government, Marga Prohens, and the Minister of Education and Universities, Antoni Vera, were also reported.
According to union sources, a new meeting with the Government is scheduled for this July, where they expect the Executive to present concrete proposals that address their demands. The outcome of this meeting will be decisive in determining whether mobilizations resume after the summer.
The unions also insisted on the need for employers' associations to sit down and directly negotiate the autonomous agreement for the 0 to 3 years sector and rejected the idea of transferring the negotiation to the table for subsidized education.
The organizations' objective is to unblock the negotiations for the future autonomous agreement for early childhood education and, at the same time, demand a review of the minimum decree.
"Everything is contingent on us being able to sit down and negotiate the specific part for 0-3 with the employers' associations and on receiving a response in the pending meeting with the Government to the demands we made fifteen days ago," union sources summarized.
