PalmThe director of IBDona, Cati Salom, revealed this Monday that Anti-abuse bracelets have also been reported in the Balearic Islands., although she stated that she does not have specific data on the number of incidents. Speaking to the media after presenting a campaign with Pimem to promote the hiring of women victims of gender-based violence through the SOIB (National Police Service), Salom revealed that she learned about the errors in the police forces in the Archipelago through the Unified Police Union (SUP).
At this time, she added, the Government is reviewing control tools to verify each case to see if any incidents have been recorded. Salom explained that she has also asked the Government Delegation for information regarding the number of active bracelets currently in the Archipelago, although the latest data is 85.
