The man found with several stab wounds inside a crashed car in Ibiza committed suicide
According to the Armed Institute, investigations remain open despite this first forensic conclusion
PalmaThe Civil Guard has concluded that the death of the 38-year-old man found early Sunday morning with several stab wounds inside a crashed vehicle in Ibiza corresponds to a suicide, according to autopsy results.
As reported by the Armed Institute, investigations remain open despite this initial forensic conclusion, with the aim of fully clarifying the circumstances of the incident. The events took place on Sunday at 3:00 AM on the EI-300 road, at kilometer marker 3, in the Ca na Negreta area, in the municipality of Santa Eulària. For reasons being investigated, the driver went off the road and the vehicle crashed.
When emergency services arrived at the scene, they found that, in addition to the injuries from the accident, he had several stab wounds all over his body. The victim was alone inside the vehicle and was driving the car at the time of the accident. The discovery of the wounds prompted the Civil Guard to open an investigation. Once the autopsy was performed, the results indicate that he would have stabbed himself, although the agents are keeping the proceedings open to precisely determine all the details of the case.
