PalmThe new support service for families of people who have died by suicide, launched by the Government in collaboration with the Red Cross, expects to assist approximately 450 people over the next two years. As explained this Monday by the Minister of Health, Manuela García, at a press conference, the program consists of a series of workshops in which family members will receive support. It is a complementary service to the psychological treatment already available. The protocol establishes that family members can go directly to the Red Cross or be referred by their family doctor. The goal, as the Minister pointed out, is for people to feel supported by others who have experienced a similar situation.
