They find the body of a man in Sant Joan

PalmaThe Civil Guard is investigating the discovery of the body of an elderly man in a wooded area of Sant Joan de Labritja (Ibiza). The Local Police of the town also intervened this Thursday in the incident, as reported by the Sant Joan City Council in a statement. The agents were alerted at 5:02 p.m. to the discovery of a person lying on the ground, in an area near the port.

Once at the scene, the officers found an elderly person lifeless in a wooded area. Faced with this situation, they immediately proceeded to secure and preserve the area, as well as to inform the emergency services and the Civil Guard.

Subsequently, Civil Guard personnel appeared at the scene and took charge of the intervention. Likewise, Judicial Police agents took over the investigation and the carrying out of the appropriate proceedings to clarify the facts.
