This is what a hotel room looks like after a stay by two tourists who came to Mallorca to party.
The tourists have shown it through a video on social networks
PalmHe Mallorca Viral Instagram account has echoed a video two German tourists posted on social media showing how they left their hotel room after four days in Mallorca. The young women, who visited the island solely for the purpose of partying and who are part of what is known as excess tourism or cat-rag tourism, have proudly revealed how they left their room completely destroyed.
The room's floor is littered with clothing and personal items, as well as all kinds of dirt that has accumulated over the days they've been staying at the hotel. One of the mattresses has been taken out onto the balcony (and one of the tourists can be seen sleeping in the video), and the rest of the furniture is also out of place and used for purposes other than its intended purpose.
Responses to this controversial video were swift. All the comments on the post harshly criticize both the young women's education and the type of tourism that visits Mallorca. "And then they don't allow dogs in the hotels..." comments one user, referring to the tourists' education. Others sadly recall the work that housekeepers have to do because of this type of traveler. "Pigs and sows are cleaner," another comments.
