A tourist was rescued after falling from a 10-meter cliff in Cala Deià.

The woman has been transferred to Son Espases Hospital.

PalmThe Civil Guard has rescued a 39-year-old Belgian woman who had an accident after falling down a ravine about 10 meters high in the Cala Deià area.

In a press release, the armed force reported that the victim was walking with a friend when she fell from a height of about 10 meters, causing multiple injuries.

Following the alert, emergency services were activated. The Civil Guard Air Service was dispatched to the scene with specialists from the Mountain Rescue and Intervention Group (GREIM), who, with the help of firefighters, provided first aid to the woman.

Once they had stabilized the victim, the Civil Guard Air Service pilots provided partial ground support from the aircraft and, after getting the woman inside, transferred her to Son Espases University Hospital.

The Civil Guard has finally advised that, when practicing mountain sports, it should be done in a manner appropriate to each person's physical and technical condition and always accompanied by specialists or experienced people.
