Two seriously injured in an accident in Petra

PalmTwo people, one aged 38 and the other 39, were seriously injured after a car and a motorcycle collided early Sunday morning in Petra.

The accident occurred around 00:20. Minutes later, the SAMU 061 received the alert and sent two ambulances to the scene, where the Civil Guard also responded, according to the emergency services.

Paramedics assisted the victims at the scene of the accident and, once they were stabilized, they were transferred with polytrauma code for urgent care to Son Espases University Hospital.

The causes of the incident are still unknown, and the armed forces have begun an investigation to clarify them.
