A woman dies in the pool of a private home in Binixica, in Maó
The National Police is investigating the circumstances of the incident, which took place on Sunday in a private dwelling in the Binixica urbanization
PalmaThe National Police is investigating the circumstances of the death of a woman who was found in the pool of a private residence in the Binixica urbanization, in the municipality of Maó. The events took place on Sunday, when the victim's family alerted the Emergency services. Local Police officers from Maó, health services and National Police agents were dispatched to the home.
The paramedics performed resuscitation maneuvers for more than half an hour, but could do nothing to save the woman's life. The National Police has opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident and clarify what happened before the victim was found in the pool. The events coincided with the celebration of the patron saint festivities of Sant Climent, the closest village to Binixica, which took place on Saturday and Sunday. The urbanization is located approximately a kilometer and a half on foot from the village.
