A worker dies in Alaior after falling from the roof of an industrial building

PalmaA worker died this Friday after falling from the roof of an industrial building in the Alaior industrial estate, in Menorca, where he was carrying out repair work.

The man, of South American origin and around 60 years old, remained on the ground and, although he did not die immediately, he did so shortly after, despite the fact that agents of the Local Police of Alaior, the first to arrive at the scene, performed resuscitation maneuvers on him.

The Civil Guard has taken charge of the case to determine what happened. In addition, a technician from the Balearic Institute of Occupational Health (IBASSAL) has traveled to the scene to gather information and initiate the corresponding investigation.
