PalmThe State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued a yellow alert for the Balearic coast due to waves of up to four meters and also in the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range (Mallorca) for winds that could reach 70 km/h. The coasts of the entire archipelago are under this type of alert for coastal phenomena, which represents a low danger, with gusts of sea wind of 50 to 60 km/h (force 7 level) and waves ranging between 3 and 4 meters. This is not the only alert; in the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, in Mallorca, a yellow alert is also in effect for strong southwest winds that could reach maximum speeds of 70 km/h.
