A young woman who escaped from a juvenile center reports that they forced her to perform oral sex in Magaluf

PalmaA young woman accused a man this Wednesday of forcing her to perform oral sex on him in an apartment hotel in Magaluf after a night of partying. The events date back to the early hours of October 27, 2021, and were judged this Wednesday by the Second Section of the Provincial Court of the Balearic Islands. The Public Prosecutor's Office is requesting ten years in prison and 12,000 euros in compensation for the accused.
The young woman explained during the trial that she had been at a nightclub that night and that she subsequently went to an apartment hotel with the accused, a friend, and other people. According to her account, she did not feel well at that time due to the consumption of alcohol and drugs that, as she asserted, could have been introduced into her drink. The young woman explained that she tried to sleep and that, while she was lying down, the accused began to touch her. Faced with her refusal, according to her statement, the man grabbed her by the neck and forced her to perform fellatio on him.
After the events, the young woman went to the establishment's bathroom and, as she explained, managed to connect to the hotel's WiFi network because they had removed the SIM card from her phone. From there, she contacted her reference technician, who was alerted to what had happened. The technician testified as a witness and explained that the young woman told her that she "was afraid" and that "they had tried to rape her." As she recounted, it was the young woman herself who called the Civil Guard.

At the time of the events, the young woman had run away from a juvenile center of the Majorcan Institute of Social Affairs (IMAS).
The Civil Guard agents who testified during the hearing corroborated part of the account regarding the police intervention. One of the agents explained that they went to the hotel room after receiving a report of an alleged kidnapping with sexual assault. Upon their arrival, as he testified, the young woman "did not want to come out because she was afraid".
The accused testified last and denied the accusations. The man asserted that he did not force the young woman to have any sexual relations and stated that he does not know the reasons why she would have decided to report him. The trial was adjourned for sentencing this Wednesday. In addition to the ten-year prison sentence, the Prosecutor's Office demands that the accused compensate the young woman with 12,000 euros for the damages caused.
