PalmRafel Nadal inaugurated this Thursday his new museum, in Manacor, which under the slogan 'Inside the Legend', offers a journey through his life on and off the court.

This is how the Manacorí presented it at an event this Thursday, where he explained that this new museum, unlike the previous space, reflects "in a more intimate way" his career and his life.

The space, with great audiovisual resources and different rooms, hosts personal items from Nadal and other international athletes.

The tour begins with an immersive audiovisual tunnel that introduces the visitor to the mind of young Rafa, his childhood dreams, and the passion for sport that marked his first steps.

From here, the museum unfolds a journey through the most important stages of his life and career. Among the new spaces, there is a room dedicated to great athletes, with original objects from Michael Jordan, Serena Williams, Tiger Woods, Usain Bolt, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, or Pau Gasol, among others.

The tour continues through an area with an intimate look at the child who dreamed of being a tennis player, presided over by his first racket and childhood records, while the next space pays homage to Nadal's career on clay.

Among other spaces, you can visit an area dedicated to the 22 Grand Slam titles and other successes, and another room that focuses on the shared legacy between Nadal, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic through a unique audiovisual area.

The experience culminates in 'Inside the Legend', an immersive audiovisual space that reveals the values, emotions, and challenges that forged Rafa Nadal's greatness and connects with his current legacy through the Rafa Nadal Academy and the Rafa Nadal Foundation.

In statements to the media, the tennis player has declared his stage in tennis closed: "I'm reaching the limit of my possibilities, not mentally, but physically (...) They gave me the confidence that with an operation there would be options to compete under conditions and I did it, to give myself the opportunity to continue. Why? Because I was happy doing what I did," he recounted.

In this regard, when asked if he would have preferred to retire in a big way in 2022, he admitted that he would not have. "This is what people with ego need, it's not my case. What I did was try until the end," he said.

On the other hand, the former Mallorcan tennis player has stated that the most exciting thing in his life is being a father and that he does not miss competition because it is a page "already closed".

"I don't live in these memories daily, I'm in another stage of my life and I'm enjoying it," he assured this Thursday at a press conference after inaugurating the Rafa Nadal Museum, in Manacor, which offers a journey through his life both on and off the court.

Asked about the most exciting moment of his life, the Manacor native has brought up becoming a father. "My real life has never changed, that is the most important thing for me," he said, adding that he has managed to lead a "very normal" life.

He also spoke about his father, a "decisive" person in his life. "If we are where we are, it's thanks to him, he is a very important pillar in my day-to-day life," he said.
