The Balearics have received 7.7% more tourists in April than a year ago
Only in hotels 848,250 travelers have stayed in April, 7.1% more than a year ago, according to INE data
PalmaThe Balearic Islands received 958,008 travelers in April, 7.7% more than in the same period last year. According to data published this Monday by the National Statistics Institute (INE), these visitors have generated 4,213,066 overnight stays in hotels, tourist apartments, and rural tourism accommodations, a figure that represents an increase of 4.9% compared to April 2025.
Only in hotels, 848,250 travelers were accommodated in April, 7.1% more than a year ago, with 3,775,752 overnight stays, 3.7% more.
In non-hotel tourist accommodations (tourist apartments and rural tourism accommodations, because in the Balearic Islands there are no campsites or hostels open in April) 109,758 people were accommodated in April, 13.1% more than in April last year, who made 437,314 overnight stays, 16% more accommodation.
