The cheapest municipality to rent a house in the Balearic Islands... and it's not what you think
With a price of 12.4 euros per square meter, Inca is at the forefront of this ranking
PalmaInca is the cheapest municipality in the Balearic Islands to rent a home, with an average price of 12.4 euros per square meter per month, according to a study published by the real estate portal Idealista.
The report, based on data from the second quarter of this year, places Inca as the most affordable rental market in the Archipelago, although its price remains above that of the most economical municipalities in Spain.
The national ranking is headed by Baeza (Jaén), with an average income of 5.2 euros per square meter per month, followed by Almendralejo (Badajoz) and Úbeda (Jaén), with 6.5 euros per square meter.
According to the data handled by Idealista, Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha, the Valencian Community, Extremadura, and the Region of Murcia concentrate the majority of the 25 cheapest municipalities to rent housing in Spain, all with prices below 8 euros per square meter per month.
