The entity foresees raising the aid for projects in the Balearic Islands to 1.56 million during 2026

PalmaThe Guillem Cifre de Colonya Foundation supported 551 activities in the Balearic Islands during 2025, with a total contribution of 1,128,795 euros. The foundation made these figures public this Wednesday during its annual meeting with beneficiary entities, held at the Fàbrica Ramis in Inca.

Of the total activities, 306 correspond to the social and welfare sector; 133 to culture; 65 to sports; and 47 to sustainability. The meeting served to present the report on the foundation's activity and to advance the forecasts for 2026.

The event featured speeches by the president of Colonya, Caixa d'Estalvis de Pollença, and the Guillem Cifre de Colonya Foundation, Josep Antoni Cifre Rodríguez, and the head of Institutional Relations and Ethical Savings at Colonya, Juan José Caldés.

1.56 million for 2026

With a view to this financial year, the Guillem Cifre de Colonya Foundation plans to allocate 1.56 million euros in grants for entities and projects in the Balearic Islands.

The second part of the day was dedicated to the cycle Working for the common good, with a lecture by Juan José Suárez, geographer and collaborator of Palma XXI, titled Understanding the climate emergency to take action. The intervention focused on the effects of climate change and the need to move towards concrete responses from society.

The meeting brought together representatives of the entities that receive support from the foundation and served to share their activity in areas such as social, cultural, educational, sports, and environmental fields.
