United Airlines will fly every day between Palma and New York
The company will go from three weekly frequencies to a daily service between the end of May and October
PalmaUnited Airlines will strengthen the direct connection between Palma and New York in the summer of 2027 with a daily flight between Newark airport and Son Sant Joan. The company plans to operate three weekly frequencies starting in March and increase them to seven from May 26 until October. The route, launched in 2022, is currently the only non-stop connection between Mallorca and the United States.
With the new schedule, the connection will exceed 3,300 seats per week during the high season. The flights will be operated with a Boeing 767-400ER with a capacity for 231 passengers. United has also scheduled new connections from Newark for the summer of 2027 with Valencia and Ibiza, in both cases as the only direct flights with the United States.
Last year at Fitur, together with the Council of Mallorca, United already announced an expansion of its non-stop flight between Palma and New York, which already represented an increase of more than 50% of available seats for the summer of 2025 compared to the summer of 2024. Now, the offer is being expanded even further.
