Artist confirmed at Mallorca Live: La Oreja de Van Gogh returns to the Balearic Islands
The band will perform in Mallorca on June 11 and 12 as part of the new leg of the tour, which brings back Amaia Montero as lead singer
PalmaLa Oreja de Van Gogh will extend its Spanish tour until 2027 and will return to Mallorca to perform at the Mallorca Live Occident on June 11 and 12. The band from San Sebastian announced this Tuesday seven new performances at festivals throughout the country, among which is their date on the island.
The Mallorca Live concert will be part of a new batch of dates that will begin in May and will also pass through festivals in Seville, Alicante, Merida, and Roses, before continuing in August through Andalusia and ending in September in Lugo.
The return to Mallorca comes within the framework of the tour that has marked the reunion of the band with Amaia Montero, the original vocalist of La Oreja de Van Gogh. According to the group, the tour has already sold more than 400,000 tickets and has become one of the most in-demand musical spectacles of 2026.
The band has also claimed the role of festivals within this new stage. "It is an honor, a privilege, and also a responsibility to accept such a stimulating challenge," they noted in a statement.
Before returning to festival stages in the summer of 2027, La Oreja de Van Gogh will complete its current tour of Spain and make a stop in Latin America. The national tour was initially scheduled to end on December 30 at the Movistar Arena in Madrid.
With the new calendar, however, the group will maintain its live activity throughout 2027 and Mallorca will be one of the highlight stops of this new phase.
