Júlia Colom presents 'Paradís', an intimate journey into a universe that embraces pop, electronica, and folk.

The Mallorcan artist presents a more "daring and emotional" work that fuses pop, electronica and folk with her own production and collaborations with Tarta Relena and Ouineta

PalmThe Mallorcan singer-songwriter Julia Colom (Valldemosa, 1997) presents Paradise, her second album, which will be released on October 31st. The new work focuses on a sound free of labels, where pop, electronica and folk coexist with "a poetic and emotional force that marks a step forward in her career." After the impact of Miramar, his debut album, with ParadiseColom opens the doors to his "most intimate universe" and reflects on "identity, the future, and doubt as a creative driving force." The concept of paradise takes on a double meaning: "as an ideal we pursue and as an emotional landscape we feel as home," explained sources from the record label.

Musically, Paradise embraces a "playful and precious pop" that expands into more complex territories, with lyrics "as honest as they are raw, full of natural imagery and dreamlike symbols." The already advanced tracks, such as 'Te he busca', 'Celosías' and 'Necesit', "anticipate the album's sonic breadth and depth." Also notable are pieces such as the dreamlike romanticism of 'Juntas dentro del agua', the obsession hypnotic 'Ya sabes donde me oculta' (You Know Where I Hide) and the vocal power of 'Sa nit i es dia' (Saint Night and It's Day). The collaborations with Tarta Relena and Ouineta amplify the work's sonic universe, in an album that avoids following trends to build its own, deeply personal language.
