The Estudi General Lul·lià will host the first concert of the intimate folk cycle by Rachid B and Miquel Serra

The Always Winchester concert series aims to bring European folk music closer to the public with intimate and emotional performances, and begins with Rachid B and Miquel Serra on March 28 in Palma.

PalmThe Estudi General Lul·lià will launch a series of small-format concerts on Saturday, March 28th, promoted by Always Winchester. The series aims to bring contemporary European artists to the public with intimate, original, and personal performances. The first concert features Rachid B, a Moroccan multidisciplinary artist based in Spain, and Miquel Serra, a musician from Mallorca.

This first concert will offer a journey through two of the most innovative and daring works on the national folk scene of 2025. Rachid B will present the album The GhorbaAn intimate and emotional project that reflects on displacement, migrant identity, and nostalgia, combining influences from Arab tradition with Western sensibilities and subtle electronic textures. According to the artist, the album reflects his life journey as an immigrant and seeks to show reality without embellishment.

For his part, Miquel Serra will perform his latest work, Consolationscharacterized by a fusion of delicate melodies, introspective lyrics, and a contemporary sensibility that blends pop and music indie and Mediterranean tradition. Both musicians have received very positive reviews nationally and represent the artistic direction that Always Winchester wants to promote: intimate concerts, with simple production, but with solid cultural content.

The series aims to recapture the spirit of itinerant musicians with intimate concerts, and the premiere on March 28 will be just the first of many. Other artists who will soon be performing at the Luliano General Studio include Le Flegmatic, Saint Jude, Francesca Brierley (Heka), Thijs Kuijken (I Am Oak), Bony Man, and Lande Hekt.
