MÉS does not rule out an agreement with Coalició per Mallorca: "It will be seen after the elections"

The eco-sovereignists feel "strong" for the upcoming elections: "Our proposals are shared by more and more people"

PalmaMÉS per Mallorca has organized a morning of meetings in Parliament to warm up for the upcoming elections. In this scenario, the general coordinator of MÉS per Mallorca, Lluís Apesteguia, has argued that, faced with society's problems, "solutions that had never been on the table" will be necessary. And he has assured that "whoever wants to accompany" the party in this project "will be welcome." Thus, he has not ruled out a possible post-election alliance with Coalició per Mallorca, the party heir to El Pi, which has presented the journalist Pere Sánchez as a candidate. "For now, they do not have parliamentary representation, we will have to see after the elections", he said.

In statements to the media, Apesteguia defended that "the health of MÉS per Mallorca is fantastic" to face this last year of legislature. "We feel strong," he said: "The proposals that we have been putting on the table for decades are increasingly shared by more people".

Accompanied by the spokespersons for MÉS in the Consell and the Palma City Council, Catalina Inès Perelló and Neus Truyol, the eco-sovereigntist explained that the party will evaluate the political course and strategy in a meeting to "offer an alternative to the predatory and involutionist policies of the PP and Vox". "The problems of Mallorcans do not go on vacation," he said, and accused the Government of "disappearing from public life and political initiative".

When asked about the change of candidate for the PSIB, which in 2027 will present itself in the elections with Rosario Sánchez at the helm, Apesteguia avoided evaluating profiles and defended that, if they reach an agreement, it will be because they agree on concrete proposals.
