Coalition for Mallorca presents Pere Sánchez as candidate for Parliament for the autonomics

PalmaCoalició per Mallorca presented Pere Sánchez Lendínez this Saturday as a candidate for the Parliament of the Balearic Islands for the upcoming regional elections. The candidacy of the Majorcan formation represents a commitment to incorporate people from civil society into politics, with professional experience and knowledge of the reality of Mallorca, but without a trajectory linked to traditional political parties. Known for his work as a presenter and communicator, Pere Sánchez explained that his entry into politics responds to “a profoundly personal decision and the conviction that Mallorca faces challenges that require active commitment from citizens”.

"I had never thought of dedicating myself to politics. But a moment comes when it is not enough to worry about what is happening. One must get involved. I am taking this step out of responsibility and to defend the Mallorca I want to leave to my children," he stated during the presentation.Joan Serra, from Coalició per Mallorca, highlighted that the candidacy of Pere Sánchez “symbolizes a new way of understanding politics, based on proximity, common sense, and the unreserved defense of the interests of Mallorcans”.The training considers that the Balearic Islands need to open a new stage focused on the protection of the territory, access to housing for residents, support for the local productive fabric, the improvement of public services and the recovery of decision-making capacity in the face of the great challenges affecting Mallorca.The candidacy of Pere Sánchez is part of the Coalició per Mallorca project, a party that defends the slogan 'Mallorca first' and which advocates for decisions affecting Majorcans to be made with Mallorca and its people in mind, above all else.
