Apesteguia will renew his mandate without opposition in the MORE Assembly
The eco-sovereignist party includes trusted figures in the executive team.
PalmThe coordinator of MÁS per Mallorca, Lluís Apesteguia, will renew his leadership of the party at the General Assembly scheduled for next Saturday. His is the only candidacy presented in the primaries. This was announced by the party, which also detailed that the list of candidates for the executive committee is completed by the core group of the eco-sovereignist: Member of Parliament Maria Ramon for Secretary of Organization, and Més per Sóller councilor Laura Celià as head of Finance. In addition, Member of Parliament Ferran Rosa, the mayor of Manacor, Miquel Oliver, and the deputy mayor of Manacor, Carme Gomila, will also be part of the executive committee.
Oliver's addition to the executive committee is one of the most noteworthy developments, as, according to ARA Baleares, the mayor announced his interest in running for the Consell or the Parliament in 2027 (at this point, everything points to the Consell as the most plausible option).
The General Assembly will take place at Ses Cases dels Mestres de Santa Maria. It begins on Friday, December 12, with a vote on the proposed amendments to the statutes and the organization's platform. On Saturday morning, the party's code of ethics and political platform for the coming years will be voted on, and finally, the elected candidates will be announced.
