PollençaA fault in the impulse pipe of the Alcudia desalination plant has forced a cut in the water supply to several areas of Pollença this Sunday, according to the City Council.
The incident has interrupted the arrival of water from the desalination plant and has left the Military Base, the Nautical Club, Ports IB, the sports center of Port de Pollença, Síller, the industrial estate, Carrer de l'Oronella, the upper part of Calvari, the Can Porquer urbanization (Golf Pollença) and the cemetery without service.
In addition to the supply cuts, the City Council has reported that water pressure has also been reduced throughout the Port de Pollença network while work is being done to resolve the fault.
The Consistory has not specified when the service can be fully restored and has asked for understanding from the residents affected by the incident.
