Eduardo Robsy will be the PSOE candidate for the mayoralty of Alaior
The minister places management, dialogue and consensus at the center of his proposal for the municipality
PalmaEduardo Robsy was designated this Saturday as the PSOE candidate for the mayoralty of Alaior for the 2027 municipal elections, in an assembly of the socialist party.
The now candidate has defended that Alaior has "a great future ahead," but pointed out that to make it possible, "new ideas, dialogue, willingness to build consensus," and management capacity are needed. These three elements—management, dialogue, and consensus—will be the main axes of his proposal for the municipality.
Robsy has also called for a "strong and convinced" team to face, according to his assessment, the nearly 16 years of "immobilism and sustained deterioration" of the quality of life that he attributes to the last four PP terms.
The PSOE is preparing the list
The secretary general of the PSOE of Alaior, David Moll, has championed Robsy's profile as an alternative based on experience and management capacity. Moll has stated that the socialists are betting on a profile that will allow for proposing an alternative to the municipal government of the recent years.
With the election of the candidate, the PSOE is now setting in motion the process to draw up the electoral list. According to the party, the candidacy will combine technical profiles and experienced individuals with an ideological commitment to the left.
Robsy is currently a councillor of the Consell de Menorca. He has also held various public positions, including that of Director of Architecture and Housing of the Government during the last term and that of Deputy Director of the Office of Economic Affairs and G20 of the Presidency of the Spanish government.
An economist and jurist specializing in public housing policies, he currently combines his responsibility at the Consell with the position of auditor of the Ferreries City Council.
