MÁS por Palma begins the process to recover "a city hijacked by the PP" with its congress
The approved political document sets the roadmap to "put an end to a model that serves only a few," says Neus Truyol.
PalmMÁS per Palma has begun its congress with the approval of its 2026-2028 Political and Strategic Plan, a document that sets the party's course to make Palma a city designed "for its residents and not for the economic interests of a privileged minority." The party denounces that the PP government, with the support of Vox, has turned Palma into "a space at the service of speculation, overcrowding, and powerful lobbies." MÁS per Palma spokesperson Neus Truyol stated that "Palma cannot continue to be held hostage by the interests of a few. Either its people govern the city, or speculators do. And we have chosen which side we are on." Truyol directly points to the PP and Vox as responsible for a model that deepens "inequalities and erodes social, environmental, and cultural rights." She accuses the municipal government of acting "subordinately to tourism and real estate interests, and of refusing to provide bold solutions to the real problems of the citizens." "The PP has given up on governing for the majority. It has chosen to govern for the lobbies. We will govern for the people who get up early, who work, and who want to live with dignity in their city," said the eco-sovereignist spokesperson.
The congress will culminate on March 5 with the election of the new coordinator, who will have the challenge of leading the party with the aim of preparing the "political offensive to recover the city's pride and to build a solid and courageous alternative," said Truyol.
