The Catalan Parliament is publishing its official bulletin in Spanish again after 34 years.
The bulletin has been published in bilingual format following the agreement of the Parliament's Bureau
PalmThe Official Bulletin of the Parliament (BOPIB) number 124 was published this Friday for the first time in Catalan and Spanish since 1992. This bulletin was published in bilingual format following the agreement of the Parliament's Bureau of February 14, 2024, modified by the same Bureau on February 28, 2020.
The BOPIB is one of the official publications of the Parliament, along with the Journal of Proceedings, in accordance with Rule 108.1 of the Rules of Procedure, and constitutes the official means of publishing parliamentary texts and documents. According to Rule 110.1 of the Rules of Procedure, texts and documents are published when their publication is required by any provision of the Rules of Procedure, whether necessary for relevant information or for proper processing; or when ordered by the Speaker. Between 1983 and 1991 it was published in Catalan and Spanish, and from 1992 until the present it has been published only in Catalan.
