PalmaThe PP has presented dozens of amendments to the law on strategic projects that have nothing to do with the purpose of the norm. Some have served to create an almost parallel norm. Otherwise, it has invited Vox to present some of its pacts on Catalan and immigration, also through amendments.
Second simplification law
Express demilitarization
The PP has presented an amendment that is almost an entire law. This is the second law of administrative simplification. The Government, aware that it will not have time to finish it before the end of the legislature, has introduced it in an amendment that has 43 articles and an additional provision. It has also presented three more amendments to modify the first simplification law.
Remodeling of ATIB
Structural reform
The Government takes advantage and carries out a profound reform of the Tax Agency of the Balearic Islands (ATIB) through four amendments to the norm. The contractor of the service has retired and the situation has forced redevelopments that, finally, have become a structural change of the ATIB, as ARABalears reported. The Executive's objective is to regain control of the organism's management.
Agreements with Vox
Remove the Catalan requirement
The PP and Vox have materialized agreements through amendments to this regulation. The far-right (with the approval of the popular party) has presented several to eliminate the Catalan requirement for teaching positions in very hard-to-fill locations. Also to remove it in various basic labor categories in public service. Furthermore, they have also agreed to lower the necessary Catalan grade in high school to obtain the Catalan certificate (B2 and C1), and that those who study for a year abroad can obtain it. In parallel, Vox has also presented an amendment with the support of the PP to give definitive shape to the Anti-occupation Office, as well as to introduce in this law the requirement of a minimum of three years of uninterrupted legal residence to access the guaranteed social income. Thus, they will exclude newcomers from the aid.

Surgical modifications
The PP also takes the opportunity to make surgical modifications to numerous laws. Thus, both the PP and Vox have presented an amendment (although they say they have not agreed on it) to reserve 20% of local police positions for ex-military personnel. In addition, the popular party proposes the creation of the Official Register of Real Estate Agents, among other housing measures. It also shields the prohibition of increasing tourist rental licenses in multi-family apartments. Furthermore, it proposes several modifications to the regulations on tourism matters.
