Hours later, the far-right MP tweeted another tweet in which he continued his usual line on language issues, emphasizing that Catalan was not spoken in Mallorca, just as it is not spoken in Valencia. "In Mallorca, we don't speak Catalan; we speak Mallorcan and Spanish. Just as they don't speak Catalan in Valencia, they speak Valencian and Spanish," he stated.

These words come less than 24 hours after Toni Nadal spoke at the 21st National Congress of the People's Party (PP), where he stated that the politician "should not intrude into all spheres of society." During the speech, and to argue this point, he spoke about language, which angered Campos, who responded to him on social media.
