800 euros a month for a 30-meter shack in Ibiza and with a warning: "In summer it will be more expensive"

A 30-square-meter small house is being rented for 800 euros per month in Sant Joan de Labritja (Ibiza) and the advertisement warns interested parties: "The price is only for the winter season, when summer starts the price will change".

In fact, the rent with the advertised price from May 1st to October 20th, these 800 euros per month, will not be enough to rent the little house. As can be seen in the images of the advertisement and as the owner explains, it is a room where the kitchen, the living room, and the bedroom share space. A bunk bed above a sofa is the bedroom, the sofa is the living room, and appliances more typical of a motorhome than a house make up the kitchen. Afterwards, the house has a very small bathroom and a private garden.

In the advertisement, the owner assures that it is an "ideal" place for one person, two, or a couple. In the low season, since they do not announce or explain what the price of the dwelling is during the summer, the price per square meter of this shack rises to 25 euros.

It is worth remembering that a similar advertisement was published a few months ago in Maria de la Salut. In that case, they offered a "studio-house" to be released in "the middle of nature" for almost 700 euros a month. It was a shack on rustic land. After the advertisement became public, the Civil Guard initiated an investigation and has reported the owner for three serious infractions. According to sources from the Seprona explained mid-March, investigators became aware of this advertisement after it was published in ARA Balears and it caught their attention due to the high price, taking into account the context of the building.
