Barça and RCE Mallorca join the Correllengua Hermanado
The Spotify Camp Nou will be the stage for the departure of the flame on April 22nd as it passes through Barcelona
PalmFC Barcelona, RCD Mallorca, and Atlético de Baleares have joined Correllengua Agermanat 2026 this week, an initiative that will travel throughout Catalan-speaking territories in defense of the language. The three clubs thus join the more than one thousand organizations that support Correllengua across all Catalan-speaking territories: Northern Catalonia, Catalonia, the Valencian Community, the Balearic Islands, and Alghero.
The Mallorcan clubs have signed on and plan to actively participate in the route and promotional activities. Meanwhile, FC Barcelona's collaboration will allow the Spotify Camp Nou to serve as the starting point for the leg on Wednesday, April 22nd, in which the Flame of the Language will travel from Barcelona to Tarragona.
The 2026 Correllengua Hermanado (Twin Language Run) will take place from April 19th to May 5th, 2026, covering more than 1,500 kilometers. It will pass through approximately 500 municipalities and stop in 80. The organizers have explained that further details regarding FC Barcelona's participation in the Twin Language Run will be announced soon. The Mallorcan clubs have not only formally signed their agreement but also plan to actively participate in the route and promotional activities. This news comes after FC Barcelona also announced its support and confirmed that the Camp Nou stadium will be the starting point for the Barcelona leg on April 22nd, heading towards Tarragona.
