PalmThe CCOO union presented this Thursday a package of 52 measures that it will present in the second phase of the Pact for Sustainability, among which stands out the proposal to raise the Sustainable Tourism Tax (ITS) to 15 euros per person per day in the months of July and August with the aim of making it a "disincentive".

In a press conference, the general secretary of the union organization in the Archipelago, José Luis García, and the secretary of Economic Model, Employment and Transitions, Mariángels Aguiló, have announced the initiatives, which also include a halt to the granting of new tourist places in any modality, with the intention of having this impact on a decrease in the number of arrivals.
