Yellow warning in the Balearic Islands due to coastal phenomena, storms, rain and flooding
Aemet warns that the passage of a cold front on Thursday will mainly affect Ibiza and Formentera, where a yellow warning will be activated.

PalmThe stability of recent days, which has seen highs of between 29 and 34 degrees Celsius and lows of between 19 and 25 degrees Celsius, will be disrupted starting Wednesday afternoon, when isolated localized rainfall in the form of mud is possible. Furthermore, for this Wednesday, the Aemet (Metropolitan Meteorological Agency) has issued a yellow warning for Menorca for thunderstorms. For Thursday, the warning will be extended to all islands in the form of thunderstorms, rain, and thunderstorms.
According to María José Guerrero, the Aemet spokesperson in the Balearic Islands, the passage of a cold front could bring locally heavy showers and thunderstorms, especially in Ibiza and Formentera, where a yellow warning will be issued starting Thursday. Accumulated rainfall of 30 mm in one hour is expected.
Instability could continue on Friday, with locally heavy showers, although the situation is expected to improve by the end of the day. That day will see a drop in temperature, with highs between 26 and 33 degrees and lows between 18 and 22 degrees, lower than usual for this time of year.
Over the weekend, the sky will be partly cloudy with the possibility of showers during the early afternoon, although temperatures will gradually recover.
For the coming week, mostly partly cloudy skies are expected, although the growth of developing clouds during the afternoons is not ruled out, especially starting on Wednesday.
